We have been doing lots of things related to art and artist because our kiddos love exploring with paint and colors.
we started by creating a collective piece of art in the smart board:


technology is nice but what we really like is to get messy and so we did:
on the hallway we place a big piece of paper and started experimenting on it.

we became interested in famous artists so we though it would be a good idea to mix our math standards with art: take a look at the result:
Asun (my spanish co-teacher) work on circles using Kandinsky's work:

the circle are made with plasticine, it was real hard work but they had a great time.
I worked on rectangles and squares using Mondrian's art:


we turned our hallway into an art gallery to show what great artists we are.
