Day by day we are imrpoving the look of our class:

the hooks where we hang our coats and where our change clothes are in case we have little "accidents"

BACK TO SCHOOL IN 3 YEARS OLD

We are officially back at school. Kids arrived on thursday... it was their first school day ever... they are soo tiny( 3 years old) and adorable some of them cried but we managed....


For two weeks they are coming in two groups of ten, one hour and a half each group.
The 17th the whole class is coming at the same time... we will see how it goes.

On Monday when i came back to Pamplona my class looked like this:





And....these are some pictures of my class right now. (after three days of hardwork trying to get everything ready for the kids) I still have some things to place and all the routines are still to be hanged on the board.

so after 3 weeks of proper holidays....

....now it is time to do a bit of reading in preparation for next course in september... i will keep enjoying my summer anyways but my mornings will be a bit focus on these books and a lot of articles i've been intending to read for a long time

1. THIS BOOK IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT whatever you may need about routines is there, everything you can think of


I am reading a lot related to class centers and trying to find the best way to adapt them to my future 3 years old class and this two books are an amazing help




I've also bought  "if you give a mouse a cookie..." and "pete the cat" for the first day of class because my three year old students are coming to school and listen to their teacher speak in english so i want to find a good, engaging and easy to understand book to catch their attention because it is going to be a really hard day even though i will have a spanish teacher with my in class during the first days of school.

Summer time is a great time to check for awesome picture books to use in class so i am joining Lindsey's great linky party...

Here are my five favorite picture books:
1. THE NIGHT BEFORE KINDERGARTEN: is a great book for the first day of school.

2. MEG AND MOG. I love all MEg and Mog's books they are so easy to understand for my ESL students and so colorful....

3. GO AWAY BIG GREEN MONSTER: simply perfect for halloween. Every year kids want to hear the story over and over again.

4. THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR. This book is brilliant... there are sooo many things you can learn from it.

and last but not least my favorite book of all times, the one that gives name to my blog.

5. THE POLAR EXPRESS. Everybody knows this awesome book and how much the kids love it.

I can't wait to see all the fantastic books you are recomending.

have a look at my new class

So this is my new classroom, 3 years old b "blue class again!!!" Last week was crazy with meetings and paper work so we only had time to take our stuff out of our old class.

Now my class looks like this and it will stay like this the whole summer because i am back in my hometown to enjoy the summer!!!!


I think i know where i want all the stuff to be and what i am going to move and where but as i will only have 3 days to decorate it all before the kiddos come i will have to be quick.
