jungle week 4: elephants



              WEEK FOUR: ELEPHANTS
KIDS STARTED TALKING ABOUT THINGS THEY KNEW ABOUT ELEPHANTS AND WE USED OUR CLASS COMPUTER AND CLASS BOOKS TO CHECK OUR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPAMD IT.

ELEPHANTS CAN, HAVE ARE
In order to help kids order their ideas and express themselves better we use this chart differentiating what animals can do, what they have and how they are.  


CHIT CHAT A SHARED WRITING ON ELEPHANTS  
Shared writing is a practice where we create a text together using the kids ideas. What we do here is an adaptation where using the kids oral production from previous days we complete with them a text with gaps being either whole words or parts. The helper writes in a big piece of paper while the others have their own sheet.

KIDS CREATE ELEPHANTS BY COLORING A PAPER ELEPHANT AND PUNCHING A HOLE TO PLACE A PARTY BLOWER TO BE THE TRUNK.
