MORE LORAX AND RECYCLING

To keep working on the Lorax and preserving Nature we read a few books related to this topic:

 

 We started with this amazing book, its explains how we can help the world with very simple pictures and text. (highly recomendable)

After reading it, the kids gave their own ideas and we stuck them on our truffula trees to later on complete a simple activity to decorate our bulletin board.

My kiddos loved this book, superheroes are always great to catch their attention.

This is a very simple book explaining the importance of reuse, reduce and recycle.

With this book we saw all the things plastic can turn into.

We have been playing a recycling game from the BBC at the computers' room

we did some waste sorting activities

 we complete a chart explaining the concepts of reuse, reduce and recycle from tunstalltimes

 After seeing how we can reuse plastic and bricks kids completed this activity that i adapted from tunstalltimes

We had a residues art workshop in class. A really nice girl from the recycling center in PAmplona came to show us how to change plastic residues in art:
