Hi there! Halloween has been a blast at school this year.We introduced the project by doing a skeleton hunt. During the lunch break I decorated the whole classroom and when we came back to class we saw this on the board:
The witch had hidden the body parts of the skeleton around the class and we had to find them.
This was a great introduction because at the school halloween festival the 5 years old were going to dress up as skeletons.
We sang and dance "the skeleton dance" song by super simple songs. THe kids absolutely loved it, they still sing it today. click on the picture below to see it.

The spanish teacher used the song "Cuando el reloj marca las horas" so they could introduce learning the time.
Regarding the skeletons learning we label the skeleton body after working a lot about it at circle time.
