We have been working a bit with leprechauns on thursday and friday. Yesterday was A M A I Z I NG. The kids were hysterical.
On thursday we talked a bit about leprechauns, where they live, what they do etc. We colored and label a leprechaun, and we created houses for them that we then sticked in our leprechauns' land poster just in case the leprechauns liked them and wanted to stay.

we finally got our smartboard!!!!!!! i am thrilled!!!!! so what better way to try it than watch a leprechauns clip??? we went to the smartboard room and watched the leprechauns gold while completing a very simple activity.
we also did this great activity by the teacher wife
When the kids arrived on
Friday they were very disapointed because the leprechauns didn't come to
class.... then when we arrived after recess we were again
disapointed... nothing happened.....
But then, after lunch when we came to class eveything was dark, and..........MESSY. They messed with our coats and writing material trails changing their places, our leprechauns drawingwhere upside down, sparkles everywhere.....
